XL STAGE MANAGER POSITION

Job Description
Responsible for all aspects of production for the XL Center, including crew management, liaison between building and production, managing contract between Union and Employer, as well as payroll responsibilities. Duties include, but are not limited to, managing spaces and related personnel; managing technical operations and the stagehands staff; cost estimates and final bills for production payroll costs. In addition, manages the safety aspects of operations to always ensure personnel work safely.

Preferred Experience:
Minimum of 15 years’ experience, with the IATSE and working under IA contracts(preferred)

Minimum 10 years’ experience as a steward or production manager or similar.

Job Requirements:
Must have the following qualifications:

Be able to lift 50lbs.

Work at heights up to 90’

Work with Excel and have prior payroll experience

People skills and organizational skills to work in a high paced constantly changing environment

Large crew management experience up to 250 people.

Punctuality and ability to work long hours.

OSHA 10 OR BETTER REQUIRED

Special Skills
The ability to work effectively with diverse groups. Valid Driver’s License required. Significant work experience with live theater productions including knowledge relative to scenery, props, audio, lighting, video, wardrobe and rigging.

This position will be probationary from time of appointment until December 31, 2024 so all parties can make sure it’s a good fit.

XL HEAD ELECTRICIAN POSITION

Job Description
Responsible for all aspects of production for the XL Center regarding Electrics and Lighting. Duties include, but are not limited to, managing production lighting and electrical needs; managing technical crew in regard to electrical and lighting In addition, manages the safety aspects of operations to always ensure personnel work safely in regard to lighting and electrics for productions at the XL.

Preferred Experience:
Minimum of 15 years’ experience, with the IATSE and working under IA contracts(preferred)

Minimum 10 years’ experience with theatrical lighting

Minimum experience with general electrical functionality and operation.

ETCP required (will allow time for test during probationary period)

Job Requirements:
Must have the following qualifications:
